Two years ago, I was having dinner with friends and colleagues, passionately explaining how radical this change would be. At that time, most of them dismissed my predictions as overly ambitious, arguing that AI would remain limited to narrow, specialized tasks. Fast forward to today, and the evidence is overwhelming: AI agents are not just supporting work but fundamentally changing how businesses operate. Yet, while some still debate whether AI can be truly "conscious" or not, they miss the bigger point—what matters is the agency these systems now possess and how they can drive business decisions autonomously.

Our passion for tackling the challenges of supply chain management led us to create Lisa, the material planner—our first AI coworker. With deep roots in the supply chain space, we focused on the manufacturing industry, where growing complexity and increasing vulnerability have dramatically raised the workload for planners.
